Supplies:

Tube of choice - I am using the incredible art of Janna Prosvirina - available for purchase at Digital Art Heaven

Gradient of choice
The one I used had several colors in it - if you don't have any like this or none that matches your tube - you may be able to find some at the sites below:

OR
if you are really ambitious - you can make your own gradient - there is a wonderful tut by JustFi - HERE

Scrap kit of choice - optional

Filters:
No outside filters used!!!

Let's Begin:

Open a new image 600 x 600.
Make sure your ruler is showing (to do this - click VIEW and RULERS)

Set your background to your gradient - with the following settings:

Fill canvas with gradient

Activate your pick tool and move the gradient from the top to the 300 mark

Activate your Move tool to clear the pick option

Effects - Reflection Effects - Kaleidoscope

Rename this layer FRAME

Resize the frame by 90% - all layers unchecked

(NOTE:  Several people have informed me that Kaleidoscope doesn't work correctly for them.  It would seem it doesn't matter what version you are using either.  Luckily a very sweet lady and friend found a solution - she made the image 600 x 300 - then filled with the gradient.  Then changed the canvas size to 600 x 600 with the middle bottom arrow clicked.  When she then applied Kaleidoscope it worked perfectly!!!  So I hope that this will help those that are having troubles!!!! - Thanx so much M for all the help!!!!)

Select a color from your tube - one that is not in the gradient - or a complimentary one.

On the frame layer - select all - float - defloat - expand by 5.

Add a new layer - fill with color choice - deselect.

Adjust - Gaussian Blur set at 10.  Move below frame layer.

Copy and paste your tube - a close up works easiest if you have one.

Resize and position so that it is center in the frame

With Selection tool set to circle- feather set to 5 - draw a circle from the middle of your canvas outward.

Selection - Invert - hit the delete key one or two times.  Deselect.

Activate your frame layer again - with wand click in center - feather to 0.
Expand by 10 - add a new layer - fill with another color choice - or a soft white or pale gray.

Add a texture of choice - send to bottom

Activate your close up layer - make any adjustments needed - reduce opacity to 65% or what looks best.  Merge down

Copy and paste your full tube - resize and position.

Add any elements you wish - add a background layer and apply a mask of choice

Add your copyright information and license and name - merge and save!!!!

Mask of choice
I am using one from Moonbeams and Spiderwebs

I created these for this tutorial.  You may use them in other tags that you create.  All I ask is that you do not claim them as your own, upload them to any site, include them in any scrap kit or CU kit you may create either FTU or PTU.
If you are a tut writer and would like to use them, please contact me to discuss it.  Thanx!!!

Filters:
Filters of your choice may be used (optional)

Let's Begin:

Open a new image 700 x 700

Select a color from your tube or a complimentary one.  Set both FG and BG to it.

With your preset shape tool - set to ellipse

Draw out a circle to cover most of the canvas, but not touching any edges - center.  Convert to raster.

Selection - select all - float - defloat - add a new layer

Change your FG and BG to a contrasting color - it doesn't matter what it is as long as you can easily see it.  Fill - deselect.
Resize by 75%.  Move this circle to the left or right and up or down - leave some of the original showing in all areas.

Select all - float - defloat - activate your bottom circle and hit delete - deselect.

Delete top circle layer

If you like add a texture or a bevel or a filter to your circle.

Copy and paste your tube - position in the center of the circle - resize as needed.  Close for now

Activate your circle again - duplicate.  Image - mirror, image, flip.  Resize 65%.  Position within the larger circle

Reopen tube layer - adjust position if need - remove any excess.

Choose the chain link frame you wish to use - copy and paste as a new layer - resize 80%

You may colorize to compliment your tube, you can add texture or anything else you like.

Close out chain frame for now.

Add drop shadow to tube and circles.  Merge these 3 layers together.
Resize 85%

Open chain frame.

Select a small area of the frame with your magic wand set to freehand - feather to 0 - promote selection to layer

Hit delete on original frame. Deselect.
Activate the promoted layer - you can either use the pick tool - or free rotate - turn the links so you can see the breakage.
Do this a few more times

Move chain frame layer below your tube layer.

Add drop shadow of choice.

Resize your canvas now.  I chose to make mine 500 x 500.

Now with your preset shape - FG to null - BG to any color - draw a circle slightly larger than your frame

Select your font and font color and type out your wording.
Convert to raster.
Add gradient glow or drop shadow.

Add a new layer - send to bottom - fill with a color or anything else you prefer - apply your mask - merge group.

Add your copyright and license information and name - merge and save!!!!!

I hope this tut was simple to follow and didn't cause any mood swings!!!
